Here’s another interview of Jack Coleman from The Monte Carlo Festival:
This time he talks about his character on “The Office”. He says he is expecting to return as Senator Rob Lipton.
Jack: “I don’t want to play earnest. I’d rather play somebody who’s kind of sleazy. It’s much more fun, especially in a comedy. You don’t want to be some earnest guy who’s just trying to do the right thing but can’t. I want to be doing the wrong thing intentionally.”
The season premiere of “The Office” airs Thursday, September 20 on NBC!
Before Castles premieres on Monday September 24th, we can feast our eyes on two lovely promotional pictures taken from the first episode “After the Storm”. Jack plays Senator William Bracken… and as we can see, he has some conflict with Beckett, played by Stana Katic.
Pictured above: Senator William Bracken, probably trying to negotiate with Beckett (or perhaps this is Jack Coleman trying to placate the rabid fangirls who have to wait 10 days to see him on TV again.)
ABC has released the episode description for the September 24 season premiere of Castle. The episode is called “After The Storm” and Jack Coleman guest stars. Here’s the spoiler description from ABC:
“After the Storm” – After four seasons of “will they” or “won’t they,” Richard Castle and Kate Beckett finally gave in to their feelings for each other in the much anticipated Season 4 finale. Season 5 picks up on the proverbial morning after, with Castle and Beckett facing new questions — Was this a one-time fling, or are they now a couple? But before they find the answers, they must take on the forces responsible for Beckett’s mother’s murder that now threaten Kate Beckett’s life. The Season 5 premiere of “Castle” airs MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 24 (10:01-11:00 p.m. ET) on the ABC Television Network. Also in the episode, Jack Coleman (“Heroes”) guest stars as a well-liked U.S. Senator who finds himself in conflict with Beckett.
Jack Coleman was also interviewed by Nova TV, a Croation network. You can watch the interview HERE. In this interview, Jack shares his opinion on the recent popularity of vampires and he also talks about how hard it was to be expected to serve as a symbol for gay teens back in those days.
